Bring the beauty of a Montana flower farm to your own backyard.
Each spring we start thousands of flower seedlings inside our grow room here at Mountain Prairie Flower Farm, carefully tending them for weeks before they ever reach the garden.
This kit is a small collection of those same flowers we grow for our own bouquets — varieties chosen for their beauty, abundance, and ability to thrive in our Montana summers.
By the time you take them home, the plants have already been nurtured for 8–10 weeks, pinched for stronger branching, and hardened off so they are ready to grow the moment they’re planted.
Our hope is simple: that these flowers bring the same joy to your home and garden that they bring to ours.

Bring the beauty of a flower farm to your own backyard.
Our Backyard Bouquet Garden Kit includes 34 organically grown, pre-pinched plants, thoughtfully selected to grow into armfuls of elegant, bouquet-worthy blooms throughout the summer and into the first frost.
Each tray is grown here on our farm. The Prairie Romance Palette is curated in a palette of soft, romantic tones — blush, champagne, lilac, linen, pink, lavender, white, and salmon — creating a garden that feels effortless, abundant, and timeless.
Plants are started 8–10 weeks before pick-up and carefully nurtured to ensure strong, healthy growth. They arrive in a compostable deep-cell tray, allowing roots to develop fully so your plants establish quickly once planted.
This kit was designed to fit beautifully into a 4 × 8 garden bed, but the plants can also be tucked into raised beds, along fence lines, or anywhere you have a bit of sunshine to spare.

All varieties are chosen for their ability to produce exceptional cut flowers — perfect for filling your home with fresh bouquets all season long.

The exact mix of plants will be finalized each spring once germination is complete. While trays may vary slightly, every kit will include a beautiful blend designed for sun to part-sun gardens and average soil conditions.
Plants are fully hardened off before pick-up, allowing you to plant directly into your garden right away.
 
Farm Pick-Up
Plant kits will be ready for pick-up at our farm in Whitefish, Montana in late May, once spring temperatures are stable enough for planting outdoors.
Customers will receive a pick-up email in mid-May with exact dates and details. In past seasons, pick-up has typically taken place during the third week of May.
Please note: Shipping is not available.
 
A Note on Ordering
These plants are grown specifically for our customers and reserved months in advance. Because of the care and time required to produce them, orders are non-refundable once placed.
Please ensure you are able to pick up your plants from our farm before ordering.
